The concepts of dialogue and dialectic can be traced back to the same word. The common word: conversation. The concept of philosophical dialogue is traditionally associated with Plato. The hero of Plato's dialogues and dramatisations is Socrates, Plato's master, whose well-known method of 'puppetry' is to provoke conversation with others - usually several people at once, even a small group - and through dialogue to try to make his listeners aware of the errors of their philosophical opinions. In this sense, Western philosophy at its birth is: a communal act, a public act, a co-created work.

The Dialogue duo exhibition, through the visual aspects of dialogue, invites the viewer to a public act and dissolves the institutionalised system of the exhibition.

A dialógus és a dialektika fogalma egy tőre vezethető vissza. A közös szótő: a beszélgetés. A filozófiai dialógus fogalmát a hagyomány Platónhoz köti. Platón párbeszédes, dramatizált írásainak hőse Szókratész, Platón mestere, akinek ismert "bábáskodó" módszere az, hogy beszélgetést provokál másokkal – általában egyszerre több emberrel, akár egy kis csoporttal – s a dialóguson keresztül próbálja ráébreszteni hallgatóit filozófiai vélekedéseik tévedéseire. Ebben az értelemben a nyugati filozófia születése pillanatában: közösségi cselekmény, nyilvános aktus, együtt létrehozott mű.

A Dialógus című duó kiállítás, a párbeszéd vizuális aspektusain keresztül hívja nyilvános akcióra a nézőt és oldja a kiállítás intézményesített rendszerének kereteit.
